Facebook Setting

What group of people can see posts that you make in the future?

Friends

If it is public, are you happy that everyone on Facebook can potentially see everything you write?

I don't mind, and I would feel neutral.

If it is Friends of Friends, what are the implications of posting to a relatively large group of people that you may not know?

Nothing much, unless the matter is rather sensitive, then things may go quite chaotic.

Who can look you up and can search engines link to your Timeline? Who could potentially see your Timeline if this is set to On?

Everyone

How many apps are listed as having access to some or all of your data? How many do you remember authorising?

126, 126

Do you trust all of those applications to use your data responsibly? Why?

Yes, I am not a celebrity or someone famous, I doubt they would even care who I am.

If one of these applications were bought by another company, would you consider removing the app from Facebook? Why?

No, I am lazy to remove them and also, I doubt they would really care who am I.

Facebook Friends

What face number are you?

Does not work for me, sadly.

Describe the impact of a billion  people's public profile photos.

In my opinion, this leads to a change in human's behaviour especially when it comes to interacting with people and their openness. When one is known by another and have tried and succeed in interacting with strangers, people would most probably try it again and this would lead to shy people, to become much more open to other people.

What is your opinion of this app, and why?

No opinion, I can't use it.

How do you think Facebook calculates this?

The post of certain person on your wall and also, your interaction with that person.

Do any of the people at the top of your on the list surprise you? Why do you think they are near the top?

No, because I recently interacted with them and also, they are the few I interact with.

Would you be happy or unhappy to show this list to your Facebook friends, and why?

Neutral, because there is nothing special to be honest.

Reppler

How many "Inappropriate Content" alerts did you receive?

One

Why do you think Reppler flagged this content as "inappropriate"?

False Alarm, or it digs things from the past and think that it is a "drug related content".

How would you explain this content to a potential employer at interview?

I only open my Facebook with an average of 7 times per year, and I don't check my page furthermore, the page is not even found for some reason.

How many privacy and security risk alerts did you receive?

Zero

Explain why they are privacy or security risks. How might someone nefarious use this information to harm or inconvenience you?

By giving information to the public, one can easily realise loopholes to exploit your resources, for example, realising you are a novice computer user, they might trick you into installing malwares or viruses which could then badly affect the novice user.

Facebook

What information is available on this public profile? Are there photos visible? Are your interests visible?

None, yes, no.

What makes you uncomfortable about the visibility of this information, and why?

Nothing, I do not feel uncomfortable at all, doubt anyone would need my information anyway.

Explain why you would be happy/unhappy for a potential employer to see this page.

Since that page is basically where you literally put everything in your mind which contains good things and bad things. Once your potential employer realise you are a "backstabber", it would definitely affect your chance of getting into his company and if you are those outgoing happy person who have nothing negative in your facebook, your working environment would be affected too, most probably towards the "better" side. Though to be honest, I don't feel happy/unhappy when my potential employer see my page as, I do not use my page either way.

Reflecting on my Digital Identity (Google Searching my name)

Why do you think were there so many or so few hits about you?

I am those sort of people who dislike using my real names when dealing with any cyber-related activities.

Would you prefer to have more or less hits, and why?

Yes, if I have  made some website for specific purpose, if not, then no because, I find it quite weird personally.

What might the benefits of having lots of hits on Google be in the future?

Anything that is done by you would be known by many in a short time, this means that if you made any website or have done any researches, you will be quite well-known to the public soon. Doing things that requires attention of the public would be easier compare to those who are not known anywhere in the internet.

What potential downsides are there to having many hits on Google?

Since if you are well-known, everything spreads fast, this too applies when it comes to information that would destroy your reputation, within a few minutes, you will be one of the infamous and also, if you are well known, you will lose quite some privacy space.

Explain why your Google-presence may help or hinder you getting a job after your degree.

Everyone can verify that I have indeed, finished my degree but, due to how currently society is, if I were to join a not-so-famous university or had a bad result for my degree, my chance of getting a job would be much lower.
